Mission: To provide substance abuse awareness, prevention, intervention and education to teens.

Goals:

  • Stop alcohol tobacco and other drug use

  • Initiate and promote prevention strategies

  • Help teen learn the destructive nature of substance abuse

  • Review the science-based facts of substances and the harmful effects on the mind, body and spirit

  • Help teen learn the importance of making responsible, mature and informed decisions

Who? Teens, ages 12-18 may register to attend. Participation may be required or voluntary

When? Classes are held quarterly ( January, April, July, October) on Saturdays
Next class: Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Bluffton Police Station
